I guess everyone knows what is public speaking is? Public speaking is a type of communication that speaking infront of crowds or people. Public speaking requires a good language so that your listener will understand what are u saying, in order to present your idea, event and etc.Well, most of us do scare public speaking. Why? Some of the factors are self confident , fear of speaking error and etc...
As for today, the reason why I choose this "public speaking" as my topic of today is because I did fear of public speaking. Yes I did, but that was my past. Back then when I was in the first year and second year of secondary school, I remembered that I couldn't even speak a good english. In the same time, I did not have confidence to speak english with my friends. I tried very hard to listen and speak with my friends communicate in english , my teacher tought in english and wrote in english day by day. My friends also critized me as my english was poor, but deep in my conscious, I told myself that I will work hard to improve my english and the way i speak now.
In the year 3 of middle high school, I had oral test which require to present my topic in front of the class. I was lucky because I had a good english teacher who taught english very well and strictly. I worked hard to prepare myself in oral test. Few weeks before the oral test, I kept observed how a teacher presented their lesson based of their tone, body language and body gesture. Even in tutition class, I had observed the tuition teachers as well. On that day of my oral test, like usual what people will feel about public speaking -nervous and fear. I tried to overcome myself and kept told myself that I can do it and be confident. Suddenly my english teacher asked , who wanted to volunteer to present? I pull myself , give myself courage and confident, so I took the volunteer as a opportunity to overcome my fear and beated that challege.
Since that moment, of couse I still have fear when face in public speaking, but it was the fear of how to present it in the best way and to be a very good presenter. I had gone through a lot of public speaking as well as in my events. As a result, I getting more confidence to speak out in the meeting, in the class and in my team with no fear.
Hereby, I would like to give some advices. We need to give ourselve courage and confidence. As courage and confidence comes in, this is the time where we need to take up any opportunity that offer us in public speaking. By this way, it will overcome our fear and improve ourselves to talk infront of people!

miscommunication...
Miscommunication is something we get to see happen all the time.It happens when one side doesn’t communicate enough information to us, or we misinterpret the real meaning of their words. In both case, we get a different meaning of their words than they intended.Because of miscommunications, relationships turn sour, people fight, quarrel and many heart and feelings are hurt and sore.
Why miscommunication occurs??? Usually, miscommunication happens because of fear. For example, a husband is out late and forgets to call his wife. The wife begins to worry because of the lack of communication there and begins to worry. She then begin self-talking which takes the form of her fears - is he cheating on her??? or did something happen to him???
Plus, assumptions also play a role. Without logical explanations to events, our mind switch to a fear-based mode where we satisfy ourselves with assumptions. Assumption therefore fulfills our need for a logical explanation for the unexplainable event and we tend to become locked into that assumption, believing it as truth. Hence, the wife, who might be insecure about their relationship, might remember the time when she caught her husband flirting with the secretary, and her fears will drive her to make the assumption that her husband must have gone out to meet her.
Therefore, miscommunication has become the cause of many conflicts all over the world. To avoid miscommunication, we must always practice effective communication. Effective communication is not only about sending your points to someone..It is about opening up so that the other can feel that you care, respect and understand them for who they are. In other words, effective communication is empathy or being there for someone.
Besides that, we must always assume that we will be misunderstood when communicating. Everybody tend to think that whatever they have just delivered out loud is received loud and clear by the listeners. However, the fact is that, everyone has their own perceptions and thoughts on everything that rarely 2 different people can think similarly. So, try and make yourself as clear as possible by using simple languages or examples.
Never tell lies. That is what almost every parent tell their offsprings. In communication, the truth is essential. Speak the truth politely without hurting others feelings. By being as objective as possible, and communicating about the facts rather than the personalities involved in the discussion, you open the door to actually being understood while giving another the opportunity to state their case.
When you are challenged to communicate your thoughts and feelings to another, always remember the bigger picture and keep it at the front of your mind. You will be more objective and free off pettiness by focusing on the bigger picture. And with the ability to be objective, it will be easier to view everything that happens, both bad and good, as simply opportunities to grow together, whatever the situation may be.
The most crucial part is of course listening. We must listen properly with every fibre of our being and feel deep into our hearts. This is entirely different from the listening we are probably used to for example when listening to lectures or when listening to a friends complain on life.
Normally, we tend to multitask; that is, we will have many other thoughts on our mind eventhough when someone else is talking to us. We also have a high tendency to interrupt or assume the situation before one finishes talking. Thus, this results in miscommunication. So, remember to pay all attention and LISTEN carefully everytime you communicate with someone to avoid complications and regrets!!!

Heels tell you about women
I just went to the Garden's Robinson because of the day of member sales with my parents. There are models catwalking. And it reminds me of last year member sales! Models were catwalking last year too. But I feel differently between the past year and now.
The body languages they used were a lot. Their sharp eyesight, smiles, egoism, body curve, confident look, and stood straight. They changed the mood and tones of their catwalking based on the clothes. It differs accordingly to the venue, situation, event, target, and fashion trend.
This time, I look into the female models' high heels in very detail. I do think high heels make many women look sexy and feel sexy. Recently, I bought a pair of high heels which is about 3inches tall. This is a very fresh and new try because I never had a try on such a high heels. Since I am tall enough (168cm) as a girl, the heel make me feel "Whoaaah, how am I going to wear this?"
But I think heels are women's Best Friend.
Every women must at least own a pair of loved one.
Women deserved it =)
I had practised on my heels for about a week time. I feel tormented. My toes are red and they are still pain. I should give applause to the models who wore really high heels. Guys might think that, "Aiya, it's just heels." But I am going to prove that is a wrong statement. I never knew till I wore on it.
I am much more confident with my heels. Never doubt it.
I feel the difference.
I walked more gently.
I understand the women who wear heels.
Guys, do you?

Men, wanna know more about women? Start from the bottom!
“I don’t know who invented high heels, but all women owe him alot.”

The truth behind words
Non-verbal communication is something I really give weight to and it does affects and changed my perspective, view and thought.
This is how the blog name kissmetouchmeholdme.blogspot.com does come into my mind. I was inspired by the acts, feeling, emotion and expressions from different different people.
I do think keep words aside, a kiss, a hug, a touch, a handholding are ways to send messages in a better manner. I always give a kiss to my sister which show her my love. I give a great big hug to friends who cried badly without speaking a word. I touched my hair and treat it as the precious one. I hold people's hand tightly to give a sincere feeling towards others.
When we stand out from people, we see, we observe, we give our eyes on other people. You will now see a clear picture and interesting view. Everybody is unique and this makes us so special. Look into people's very own signature habits and expressions, you will now whoaaah, ohhh, hahahaha, Ouuchhh....
The first foot they step out
The tempo and speed they walk
The facial expression in different mood
The movement of their hands when they talk
The eyesight they look at you when they talked
The clothes they wear
The colour they like
The way they write
The way they drink and eat
Yeah, you will found out more on your own.

lacking in communication skills...
hmmm....i haven't really noticed this till i took up human communication. I always thought that maybe i just think too much about other people and always think badly of them. Now i know its not like that.really.. whatever a person does tells us something about him/her as mr murali said so many times already.
the way a person dresses, the way a person behaves, the way he/she eats, drinks, talks, looks, well just everything okay!!! tells us something that we may not so easily find out about him/her...so, the first time you meet a person gives you a first impression of him/her...and based on this first impression i have of people, i usually decide whether i want to befriend them or not...ahh...i am facing some kinda communication prob here..i forgot what it is called already;p
so yeah, if they gave me a not so friendly or approachable first impression, i just ignore them..or more like avoid them..i feel something like scared of them because they give me an uncomfortable feeling..maybe because of the 11years i spent in a girls only environment...11years of being with the same people, that you feel secured as you know and understand everyone like family...
that is why now in college, i find making new friends very scary and hard...the message i got from people here seem so negative/bold that i just backoff.. i choose to just disappear...=) now i know i lack in communication skills...i hope i may be able to cure this off after this semester...sighs..
p.s : i don't know what exactly i'm crapping on about...sorry..will do better next time...i'm still so blur..haiz...
